spencer patrick and his team
welcome you to harrisons restaurant
Spencer moved to London from middle England at the age of 20 to work with Raymond Blanc, Nico Landenis and Marco Pierre White in some of the best restaurants in the world.
In 1998, aged 26, Spencer became the youngest chef at the time to preside over the stoves of a British Michelin star restaurant (Cafe Royal Grill Room, Piccadilly). In the same year, "The London Good Food Guide" ranked Spencer 3rd best chef in London
Having tasted success in his own country, Spencer then sought refuge from Britian's cold in Australia, where he found wife Reina in Melbourne and paradise in Port Douglas. Now co-owner and executive chef of Harrisons Restaurant and Bucci Ristorante Italiano, Spencer applies innovative European methods to the finest local produce to create mouth-watering cuisine ideal for the Australian tropics!
Harrisons Restaurant proudly bears the name of Spencer and Reina’s young son. Starting at 41 Macrossan St Port Douglas in late 2007, the restaurant was relocated to 22 Wharf St on July 3rd 2009 and provides guests with a romantic colonial ambience that compliments the kitchen’s sensational offerings.
